Designed to maximise image quality and lighting conditions the rugged hardware of our Automated Visual Inspection Systems (AVIS) is suited to many modes of production. For conveyor-based facilities our specialised Over Conveyor Analysis System (OCAS) family of technologies performs analysis of continuously moving product.
We don't limit ourselves to hardware and software we can buy off the shelf if it won't do the job: We work with our hardware, electronic and optical design partners to develop full turnkey solutions when stock devices simply won't provide the performance you need.
Designed for your line
Many facilities operate non-stop production conveyors which introduce challenges to quality control checks. Manual inspection is carried out in haste as produce passes an operator or must be relegated to spot-checks if more rigorous measurements are required.
Automated Visual Inspection Systems can address these shortcomings by performing high speed analysis of every item moving along the line without the need to interrupt product flow.

OCAS Inspect
The OCAS Inspect family is designed for large conveyor producion lines and manufacturers who need to monitor 24/7 production without interruptions
Inspect helps improve quality control, identifies defects earlier, and reduces waste caused by missed process variation or manual spot checks
Inspect can be customised to meet specific requirements of a production line or type of production - for example, OCAS Eagle is specialised for use on lines generating continuous stream material production.
OCAS Track
The OCAS Track family provides accurate item tracking for more reliable automation over any length of conveyor.
Track follows products along a moving conveyor and signals when they reach key reference points.
Track reduces automation failures, prevent jams and improve reliability where products can slip, move unpredictably or become misaligned.
OCAS Measure
OCAS Measure determines the dimensions and positions of products for quality and process control purposes.
Measure uses precise image processing to establish the exact size of objects and checks that good item separation has been achieved. Unlike traditional spot checks, Measure operates without interrupting the normal flow of items and so can dimension every unit produced.
Measure supports both improved quality control and better process control, reduces the amount of manual intervention required to run your line, and can integrate with Inspect and Track units to provide full analysis of your production process.
OCAS Locate
OCAS Locate is used to detect misalignment of products which have the potential to cause production line jams where a full Measure system is not required.
Locate provides early warnings of an imminent jam and can be used to automatically trigger rejection processes to remove dangerously misaligned items before they cause a costly line stop.
Used in conjuntion with Track or as a standalone unit, Locate can give you confidence that your automated systems won't let you down due to unexpected positioning or movement of items as they progress through your line.
